تم تنظيم مؤتمر دولي حول أنواع الطرائد في المغرب بكلية العلوم بالرباط يومي 22-23 مايو 2024 من قبل كلية العلوم بالرباط بالشراكة مع الوكالة الوطنية للمياه والغابات (من خلال مركز الابتكار والبحث والتدريب)، مجموعة البحث من أجل حماية الطيور بالمغرب والجامعة الملكية المغربية للقنص (الفرع الجهوي للرباط سلا القنيطرة). وكان موضوع المؤتمر هو: « أنواع الطرائد في المغرب: الحصيلة المعرفية وجهات النظر البحثية« . ن
جمع هذا المؤتمر مجموعة واسعة من المهتمين بالقنص وبأنواع الطرائد وإدارتها وحفظها لمناقشة حالة أنواع الطرائد في المغرب واقتراح وجهات نظر لإدارة أفضل للقنص والبحث في هذا المجال. شمل المشاركون باحثين وطنيين ودوليين، وطلاب الماستر والدكتوراه، وممثلين عن منظمات الحفظ غير الحكومية (مجموعة البحث من أجل حماية الطيور بالمغرب)، وممثلين عن شركات القنص، والقناصين وممثليهم
خلال المؤتمر، عُرضت عدة عروض شفهية أبرزت النتائج التي تم الحصول عليها في المغرب خلال السنوات القليلة الماضية واقترحت وجهات نظر وتوصيات متنوعة حول القنص، بهدف إثراء استراتيجية القنص الوطنية. كما تم تقديم ثلاث عروض عامة من طرف خبراء مغاربة ودوليون حول بعض أنواع الطرائد في المغرب وإسبانيا
وألقى محمد امزيان، ممثل مجموعة البحث من أجل حماية الطيور بالمغرب، عرضا بعنوان « اليمام القمري بالمغرب: واقعه وآفاق الحفاظ عليه وصيده المستدام« . خلال العرض، قدم محمد معلومات عامة عن اليمام القمري، أو گريگر بالدارجة، والخصائص الرئيسية والتحديات التي يواجهها النوع في المغرب، وقدم الموضوعات البحثية الحالية وأبرز الفجوات الكبيرة من منظور الحفظ وإدارة القنص. كما تناول مسؤوليات القناصين وكيف يمكنهم المساهمة في الحفاظ على اليمام القمري وباقي أنواع الطرائد بصفة عامة. وأخيرًا، قدم بعض وجهات النظر والتوصيات لقنص أكثر استدامة وحفظ أفضل للأنواع
زيارة إلى منطقة القنص التعليمية
في اليوم الثاني من المؤتمر، تمت دعوة جميع المشاركين لزيارة ‘مكرية القنص التربوية’ للجامعة الملكية المغربية للقنص، المتواجدة في سيدي علال البحراوي، على مقربة من الرباط. عند وصولنا، قدم ممثلو المكتب الجهوي للجامعة الملكية المغربية للقنص معلومات حول مكرية القنص التربوية، التي تعد نموذجًا لما يجب أن تكون عليه مكريات القنص على المستوى الوطني
وخلال الزيارة جرت مناقشة مثيرة للاهتمام حول القنص وأفضل الممارسات لضمان القنص المستدام والحفاظ طويل الأمد على أنواع الطرائد بين مختلف المشاركين، من مسئولي القنص الحاليين والسابقين في الوكالة الوطنية للمياه والغابات، والباحثين، والقناصين، وممثلي المنظمات غير الحكومية المعنية بالحفظ (مجموعة البحث من أجل حماية الطيور بالمغرب). ن

Conference on ‘game species in Morocco’
An international conference on game species in Morocco was organised at the Faculty of Sciences of Rabat on 22 and 23 May 2024 by the Faculty of Sciences of Rabat in partnership with the National Agency of Water and Forests (through its Center for Innovation, Research and Training), GREPOM/BirdLife Morocco and the regional office of the Moroccan Royal Hunting Federation (that of Rabat-Salé-Kénitra). The conference theme was: « Game species in Morocco: review of knowledge and research perspectives« .
The event brought together a wide array of stakeholders interested in game species and their management and conservation to discuss the state of game species and hunting in Morocco and propose management and research perspectives. The participants included national and international researchers, Master and doctorate students, representatives of conservation NOGs namely GREPOM/BirdLife Morocco, representatives of hunting companies, and hunters and their representatives.
During the conference, several oral presentations showcased the results obtained in Morocco during the last few years and proposed various hunting perspectives and recommendations, aiming to further enrich the national hunting strategy. Also, three plenary conferences were presented by Moroccan and international experts on selected game species in Morocco and Spain.
Mohamed Amezian, representing GREPOM/BirdLife Morocco, gave a presentation entitled « The Turtle Dove in Morocco: Status and Perspectives for the Conservation of the Species and Sustainable Hunting » (the first slide is shown in photo 2 above). During the talk, Mohamed presented the species, the main characteristics of the Moroccan breeding population and the challenges facing the species. He also presented the main current research themes and highlighted the significant gaps from a conservation and management perspective, addressed the responsibilities of hunters, and how they can contribute to the conservation of the species. Finally, he offered perspectives and recommendations for more sustainable hunting and better conservation of the species.
Visit to the Educational Hunting Plot
On the second day of the conference, all participants were invited to visit the Educational Hunting Plot of the Moroccan Royal Hunting Federation, located near Sidi Allal El-Bahraoui, not far from Rabat. At our arrival, representatives from the regional office of the Moroccan Royal Hunting Federation presented information about the Educational Hunting Plot, which serves as a model for what hunting leases should be like at the national level.
During the visit, an interesting discussion about hunting and the best practices to ensure both sustainable hunting and the long-term conservation of game species took place among various participants, including current and former hunting managers at ANEF, researchers, hunters, and representatives of conservation NGOs namely GREPOM/BirdLife Morocco.
